Service

At St. Mary's School we strive to follow the teaching of Christ.  Service is an important part of our faith.  God tells each of us to think of and serve others before ourselves.  As we teach this, we focus on providing academic excellence infused with Catholic values to the children of our future.  We show them how they give back to God thru providing a helping hand to someone in need, spending time with old and new friends, and spreading goodwill throughout the community. 

Our students have many opportunities to serve their classmates, school and community throughout the year. Our most recent partnership is our NEW Reading Buddies program with our neighbors at Milestones Senior Living Center.  Students visit with residents, sharing and reading their favorite books with their new friends.  We have found that our students are benefiting much more than originally hoped.  God has blessed young and old through this program.
